USAAF A-14 oxygen mask with webbing head strap assembly

USAAF A-14 oxygen mask but fitted with webbing head strap assembly. In this configuration the mask could be worn with e.g. a Crusher cap instead of a leather flying helmet. The mask is also fitted with a MC-254-A microphone so that no throat microphones are needed.

The mask itself and the oxygen hose are in good condition, but as the photos show the rubber retaining straps attached to the headband have cracks. Because the part of the straps to the round black attachment "pins" is still relatively good, the mask can still be displayed well.
