Spike bayonet

Spike bayonet for the Lee Enfield no4 mkI rifle. The P37 frog is dated 1943 and appears to by made by the Civic Company Ltd., London (CC). This is the frog specifically made for the spike bayonet, unlike the frogs for the SMLE 1907 sword bayonets that have a loop at the top end and a broader upper loop. The bayonet is twice marked S, meaning produced by Savage-Stevens Co.
