Heer leather belt with aluminum buckle

Leather infantry belt with early Heer aluminum belt buckle marked stamped Dr. F. & Co (Dr. Franke & Co). The buckle has nice pebblings with a rope circlet in the centre with the German National eagle and swastika in the centre with oak leaves below with the inscription above “Gott Mit Uns”.

The belt itself has the length (90) and the production year (37) stamped. On the aluminum hook is the code “H&C” visible, meaning it was produced by Hymmen & Co. in Lüdenscheid.

On the back there is minor damage to the upper leather, but nothing serious. Towards the end, where the hook is mounted, is a small hole in the leather. When used with the triple K98K pouches the hole is however covered by the pouches.
